DRAGON BALL SUPER MANGA REVEALS WHY JIREN DIDN’T WANNA BECOME A GOD OF DESTRUCTION

January 02, 2018

Hey guys. Whenever a new chapter of the manga comes out, a new mystery is unraveled almost every time. This time it solved a big question about Jiren The Gray. Jiren, as we all know, is the strongest fighter in the Tournament of Power. Several characters have already tried their hand at fighting Jiren. Son Goku, who is the fighter from Universe 7 came closest to making Jiren work. But that was thanks to the new powerup that Goku received. Goku got the ultra instinct which almost brought him to the level of God of Destruction. But it was a temporary powerup and Goku was defeated in the end.
Then there was Hit, from Universe 6, who attacked Jiren after he had just fought Goku. Hit hoped to capitalize on the situation but Jiren came up with the goods match Hit. The assassin was beaten up badly and ended up getting eliminated from the Tournament of Power. The latest person to challenge Jiren is the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta. Vegeta has been challenging fodder in the Tournament of Power but it’s about that Vegeta stepped up his game and challenged the real deal. However, if you read the spoilers, then you would know that Vegeta…yes gets beaten up once again.
Another huge L for Vegeta, who has become the laughing stock of the series. Anyway moving back to Jiren. In the manga, we came to know that Jiren too was a candidate for the position of God of Destruction. It isn’t the least bit surprising considering that he is actually more powerful than a God of Destruction. However, Jiren turned down the chance to become the God of Destruction.
Why?? The reason is actually quite simple. Jiren doesn’t want to kill innocent people. He is a kind-hearted individual, who is against the killing of people. We know that the main purpose of a God of Destruction is to well…destroy. So the job conflicts with Jiren’s morals and that is why Jiren doesn’t want to become the God of Destruction. However, we do know that his comrade, Toppo is a candidate for the position of the God of Destruction.
It will worth seeing how Jiren reacts when Toppo does become the God of Destruction. We are soon getting an episode which is going to focus on Toppo and his power. It is something that we as fans should be looking forward to.

A NEW MAJOR CHARACTER CONFIRMED FOR DRAGON BALL SUPER ANIME MANGA

December 13, 2017

Hey everyone! Today, I’m going to talk about some cool information we got form V-Jump, and KenXyro over Twitter translated it. Please note that this post may contain potential spoilers. So, please, continue at your own risk. If you don’t mind spoilers, then let’s continue. Dragon Ball Heroes has a habit of spoiling a lot content from the anime canon story.
It spoiled a lot of stuff about Zamasu, and then Ultra Instinct Goku. It has also teased a rematch between Goku and Jiren, which is definitely going to happen. Now, yesterday, we got a look at a scan from V-Jump, which was from Dragon Ball Heroes. It displayed a couple of old characters, like Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, and someone from the Demon realm as well. On the top right corner, there was a card that was not revealed to us.
The card was hidden, and so we couldn’t see who this person was. However, there was a note on top of it, which said, “This character is yet to appear in the anime”. So, yeah. We have a huge new character coming our way in the Dragon Ball Super series. Now, the question is, who is this new character. This is where we will head into speculation territory, and everything here will be pure speculation. I believe this person is Ultra Instinct Vegeta.
The card appears on the page with 3 other Saiyans, and Ultra Instinct Vegeta is going to be extremely huge. It will blow the fan base up, and I think there would be a reason to keep it a secret because it will completely ruin the anime. If it’s not Vegeta, then I guess it is going to be Ultra Instinct Vegetto.
Just like Vegeta, there is a chance that Vegetto might get Ultra Instinct, if we see him in the Tournament of Power. Who knows how powerful Jiren is. If he turns out to be too much for Goku, then I think fusing to become Vegetto would make sense. Either way, it has to be a character who will make a huge impact in the series. Otherwise, this information wasn’t all that special. But, you can expect this character to be a huge deal.
There is also a big possibility that this character is a new villain for the next arc of Dragon Ball Super, or maybe the end of the Tournament of Power. I won’t deny this possibility. If that really is true, then we will have confirmation that Dragon Ball Super won’t be ending anytime soon. There have been so many rumors about the show ending, and I hope they put them all to bed, once and for all.

DBS NEW MANGA CONFIRMS CELL AS 10TH WARRIOR?

December 13, 2017

Hey there, fans of Dragon Ball! Today, I want to talk about the Dragon Ball Super manga chapter 31, which is about to come out shortly. The manga is currently about to enter the Tournament of Power, with the Tournament already having been announced. Now, each Universe has to gather warriors for the Tournament, and in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 30, we saw a glimpse of Universe 11, and Jiren.
This chapter, and more specifically, the first page of the upcoming chapter is something that has confused a lot of fans, including me. Please note that this post will have spoilers for the Dragon Ball Super manga. If you’re not okay with being spoiled, I suggest you don’t go ahead with the post. However, if you don’t mind a couple of spoilers, and like to discuss them, then let’s begin. Credits for the image scan, and the translation goes to KenXyro on Twitter.
So, let me get straight to the point. The first page for this month’s Dragon Ball Super manga has Cell on it. That’s right. Cell has appeared in the Dragon Ball Super manga. But does it mean that he will be a part of the manga? Will the Dragon Ball Super manga be different from the anime, and take Cell as the 10th member instead of Freeza? Maybe, it is possible.
Cell appears to be fighting someone in the panel, and looks heavily beaten up. He also says, “Unbelievable! Someone like this could exist…Even my power is no match.” It isn’t clear who it is that Cell is fighting, or if it is a flashback, or new material. Hopefully, it’ll be clear as the chapter comes out. But, right now, nobody really has any idea.
Honestly, I don’t think that’s Cell’s return going to happen for the Tournament of Power. Cell might’ve appeared in the chapter, but, I think it is likely a flashback, and nothing more than that. All we have right now is this panel. I’m sure as we get further panels, or better yet the manga comes out, everything will be clear as day. If it isn’t a flashback, then Dragon Ball Super has taken a big step by reintroducing Cell to the franchise, which I think most fans will be excited about.

In any case, even if Cell doesn’t return for the Tournament of Power, I think this is an indication that Cell might return in the future of the series. Maybe Toyotaro has plans, and this way his way of letting us know that Cell will appear eventually in the Tournament of Power. I would like that to happen very much. I think Freeza was given another appearance in Dragon Ball Super, so Cell certainly does deserve a chance. However, whether it will happen or not is something that isn’t clear at the moment. Yet, things are pointing towards Cell’s epic return.

5 REASONS WHY DRAGON BALL SUPER MANGA IS BETTER THAN THE ANIME

December 09, 2017

Hey guys. Dragon Ball Super manga and anime like two entirely different worlds. Fans are sometimes confused what to focus on the manga or the anime. As of now the fans mostly prefer to watch the anime instead of reading the manga. However in fact it should be the opposite as Dragon Ball Super is better than the anime. So, today I give you five reasons why the manga is better than the anime.
1. Future Trunks Saga—
Who can forget the ending of the Future Trunks saga in the anime. It is not something great just about average, which is in fact a huge let down considering the quality of the arc. It was really fun arc but the ending was seriously disappointing. Trunks finished off the major antagonist with his spirit bomb. Zamasu turning into an evil cloud (apparently that’s a thing) didn’t help either. The manga is different as the battle is turned into strategy to allow Zamasu’s limited time fusion to run out. Vegito also makes an appearance and he is much more powerful than the fused Zamasu. Also, Zamasu turned himself into an army, unlike a cloud in the anime.
2. The Gods of Destruction & the Tournament of Power—
In DBS anime, an exhibition match was held between Universe 7 and Universe 9, so that Zeno could see what a martial arts tournament is like. The fights were interesting however they had very little or no significance at all. In the manga however, instead of the fighters, the Gods of Destruction put their power on exhibition. This fight was much better and it allowed us with a significant piece of information about Beerus and why did the other Gods hate him.
3. Almost A Completely Different Jiren—
The entire Dragon Ball Super fandom is crazy over Jiren. Ever since he has showed his Godlike powers, he has become a fan favourite. In the anime, it looks like he has been just thrown in to kill time. However in the manga, his true personality is shown. He is a firm believer in justice and he will do everything in his power to protect the innocent. Even his wish has been revealed in the manga.
4. Transformation Is Far More Simpler—
Transformations and Dragon Ball go hand in hand with eachother. In DBS anime, there are some amazing transformations, it isn’t a bad thing or anything. But, getting too many transformations ruins the fun. In the manga, the Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken transformation doesn’t exist. Also, Vegeta gained access to the Super Saiyan God transformation and this answered the long-standing question of how he was able to use the Super Saiyan Blue form.
5. Some Things Never Change—
Ever since the Dragon Ball franchise began, Gokū has been stealing techniques and using them as if they were his own. In the Dragon Ball manga, he still takes the technique of other people. He used Beerus’ Destruction, which was originally assumed that it can only used by the Gods of Destruction. However used the technique, and showed us that he still has a lot to give us.
